Introducing Our New Foster Kittens! Welcome, cat lovers! We're thrilled to announce the arrival of two adorable new fosters in our care. These tiny bundles of fur were each discovered at separate shelters in Los Angeles, one in East Valley and the other in West Valley. Both kittens are approximately three days old, with their eyes still closed and their umbilical cords attached. Bottle Babies on Board! As these little ones didn't have a mother to care for them, we've taken on the responsibility of bottle-feeding them every two hours, even during the night! Amanda has come up with a few naming conventions, based on some shows we love that have plenty of girls in the cast The Shows are: Riverdale: Based on the old Archie comics but given a dark twist, the names would be Betty Cooper, Veronica, Cheryl and Ethel as well as Archie and Jughead Glow: The wonderful women of wrestling made their appearance in an awesome show led by Alison Brea. The names would be either their character names (Ruth, Debbie, Rhonda, Sam, etc) OR their Wrester names (Zoya, Liberty, etc) Sex Education: The quirky British comedy featuring by Gillian Anderson and her son Otis played by Asa Butterfield as Sex Educators to a modern-day cast of colorful misfits. Cat lovers the world over waited with bated breath for early February in anticipation of the annual Kitten Bowl, featuring furry felines frantically frolicking for footballs! Featuring polished clips of available rescue cats and kittens at their finest. So What happened to it? Why did the kitten bowl get canceled? This answer is, it kind of didn't. The Great American Rescue Bowl, formerly known as the Kitten Bowl (not to be confused with our own SuPurr Bowl presented by Cuteavalanche), is a special event that aims to raise awareness about animal homelessness and facilitate pet adoptions. The event, which has facilitated over 75,000 shelter pet adoptions since its debut in 2014, will feature kittens, puppies, cats, and dogs available for adoption at shelters across the United States. The Great American Rescue Bowl is broadcast on GAC Media now. Beth Stern, foster parent and national spokesperson for North Shore Animal League America, said, I couldn't be more excited that the Great American Rescue Bowl is coming to GAC Family. Words cannot express the love and devotion Mama Janis has shown towards her Kitten Litter. She raised them with the utmost care, providing them with a comfortable and loving environment. She's always shown her compassionate and nurturing side, taking care of them each time they were in need. Mama Janis has also keenly passed on her friendly and affectionate nature to her Kitten Litter, making them comfortable around people. As it is with most fostering programs, Mama Janis has to move on to their next stage. The artist was working hard on new designs for our upcoming SuPurr Bowl event that is taking place on February 12th at 11 am PST.
