Hi comics fans, It's been a couple of months since our 2021 releases came out into the world, and with another UK lockdown only just starting to lift, it's been a crazy ride. We're thrilled to settle into our woolliest socks, grab a cuppa and introduce you to our newest Good Comics creator: Hatiye Garip. We first started talking to Hatiye last year, and over the course of 2022 she's worked closely with us to develop her first comic - and our next release - The Land of Uncertainty. It's a really special project, so sit back, relax and read all about it.
Hi everyone, It's nearly Spring! In celebration of the longer evenings, we have something new this week. Join us in looking (and admiring) new work from our very own Good Comics alumnus Mohar Kalra, creator of our 2019 release Novelty. We last spoke to Mohar in the throes of the pandemic in July 2020 about what he was up to, and how he's approached creating new work since the release of Novelty. Since then, he's continued working away as always! "Since Novelty, I only really worked on one big pr
This month we have some very exciting news to share with you all. -drum roll- We're launching a Kickstarter campaign! We've been busy over the last few months putting together our lineup of new books for 2021, and we've decided to fund them through Kickstarter. This works really well for us as the lack of conventions and physical sales has challenged the way we do things, and crowdfunding is a perfect alternative. But it also works well for you if you back our Kickstarter, as you get five brilli
We love baseball here at Good Comics, and you might know that Paddy and Sam have a weekly email newsletter called Stealing Home, which has a weekly essay about baseball written by Paddy and illustrated by Sam when there's a normal MLB season happening. There hasn't been one for a while, but while MLB hasn't been happening, we've been enjoying the CPBL (Chinese Professional Baseball League) in Taiwan, so we put together a comic about how the CPBL has been keeping us sane in these strange times. P

We spoke to Ernesto Priego, creator of our newest distro title The Lockdown Chronicles, to get some insight into the book and how it came about. You can pre-order the book now! Hi Ernesto. Thanks a lot for talking to us! Let’s start by asking how The Lockdown Chronicles came about: in the early days of Covid lockdown, what was it that particularly inspired you to make comics about it? I started working from home in March 2020; the lockdown had not been mandated yet but I remember that, being awa

Well, the books have now nearly all gone to print, with just a couple of final tweaks to make. We’ve held the proofs in our hands, and we can tell you that they are beautiful, and we can’t wait for you to get them soon! This week we’re really happy to share a little of the art from not one, but TWO of the Kickstarter Books: Fishes May Come Back and The Good Comics Reader Volume 2.
