Spencer Torkelson (1B-DET) was productive in Thursday's doubleheader with the Rockies as he went 5-9 with 2 doubles, 2 runs scored, and 4 RBI on the day. The 25 year-old continues to be a fantasy contributor as he's now batting...
Soto smacked a pair of home runs on Wednesday and also added a 110 mile-per-hour lineout to straightaway center. It's another example of Soto tearing the cover off the ball in his first year with the Mets, even if the surface stats don't support that.
Evan Carter, OF, Texas Rangers Carter made his 2025 debut, going 2-5 with R and K. While your leaguemates might hop on him trying to catch some post-hype sleeper effect, I'm personally hesitant. Carter was striking out at 25.6% in...
Triston Casas (1B-BOS) will most likely miss the rest of the 2025 campaign after being diagnosed with a ruptured left patellar tendon. The injury brings a premature end to a disappointing season for the 25 year-old slugger, who finishes with...
Tony Gonsolin, SP, Dodgers Tony Gonsolin looked impressive in his season debut, allowing three runs on six hits while striking out nine over six innings. He induced 17 whiffs in the night for a 40% whiff rate, with his slider...
Carlos Rodon (SP - Yankees) Rodon allowed 2 ER over 6 innings Tuesday, striking out 7. It was a great start as he carried a perfect game into the 6th. Rodon has been pretty solid over the past 3 starts...
Carson Kelly C CHC Just like you figured: Carson Kelly kicking tail and taking names: .509 OBP and 6 bombs through 57 PAs. Great googly moogly! Let's look under the 30 year-old catcher's hood: 17% Barrel Rate, 63% Hard Hit...
Reese Olson was absolutely dominant on Wednesday. The young right-hander threw 7.1 scoreless innings, allowing only two hits and one walk while striking out seven. Olson's slider/changeup were spectacular, generating 17 swinging strikes on those two pitches alone. He finished the game with a phenomenal 41% CSW rate. Through five starts Olson has been a completely different pitcher at home than on the road. He has allowed two runs in 18.1 innings at Comerica Park while giving up eight runs in nine innings away from Detroit. It's way too small of a sample size to allow that to play into lineup decisions, and it's worth noting his home/road splits were negligible last year. The bigger factor is that when he has his changeup going, he can be one of the best pitchers in the game.
Brice Turang- 2B- MIL- Hot- Turang stole 3 bases yesterday, part of a franchise record 9 steals in the game. Overall he went 2-for-3 with a walk, sac fly, 3 runs and a RBI. Turang has 8 steals and seems...
Dylan Crews (OF-WSH) enjoyed what was easily his best game of the young 2025 season as he went 3-5 with a pair of 2-run blasts and a 2B against the Rockies on Saturday. The 23 year-old had REALLY struggled out...
Chris Bassitt, SP, TOR Bassitt was superb against the Braves on Wednesday, striking out 10 across 5 shutout innings, surrendering just 3 hits and 2 BB's. It's been an otherworldly start to the season for the veteran who now owns...
Kyren Paris, 2B, Los Angeles Angels Paris went 1-3 with two punchouts on a quieter night. He's been scorching hot to start the season slashing .366/.458/.805 with a .511 xwOBACON and 60.7% Hard Hit rate. This is really impressive given...
Adley Rutschman C BAL Ok, so you want more homers from Adley...but he's squaring up the ball at 38% and only whiffing at a 13%, so as Axl Rose once said...Patience. Rutschman also sports an xOBP of .385 in concert...
Matt Olson- 1B- ATL- Cold- As in 2024, Olson is getting off to a slow start. After going 1-for-4 yesterday he is slashing .196/.339/.326. His EV of 94.0 and HardHit% of 54.5% are higher than in 2024. What's hurting him...
Ben Rice (1B/DH-Yankees) Rice continues his torrid start with his 3rd home run of the season. Now sporting a .306 batting average and 1.086 OPS, Rice has seemingly taken over as the Yankees everyday leadoff hitter. He displays characteristics of...
Hunter Greene (P - CIN) - It's only three starts, but it certainly looks like Hunter Greene has taken a step forward this year. The control appears to be significantly improved, with a zone% up almost 15% from last season,...
Spencer Schwellenbach, SP, Atlanta Braves Schwellenbach was a fan-favorite pick in drafts this year as a sleeper pick, and deep gambler's pick for Cy Young if you're into that sort of thing. He did everything he could to validate both...
