I'm so excited to be heading to the beach next week for our first family vacation in over a year! Before a beach vacation, I always take a trip to CVS for all those last minute essentials like sunscreen, crossword puzzles, extra beach towels, and of course snacks.
Hello, Sunday! It is so nice to see the sun again this morning. I hope you’re all having a great weekend. I feel like I’m finally caught up on sleep and getting my sea legs under me again, so to speak. I was super excited to be invited by Walt Disney World Resort to travel to...
It's hard to believe our Maine vacation is already nearing its end. Isn't it odd how you look forward to something for so long and then suddenly it's over? While I'll be glad to be home and get back into my routine, I'll miss the soothing sound of the lake water lapping up on the shore, the call of the loons, the brilliance of the sunsets, and the lazy days with no sense of time. Today I thought I'd share some pictures of our vacation and more about what we've been up to.
Summer is officially here, and that means family vacations are on the horizon. I'm not exactly known for traveling light, but in the summertime I'm always looking for ways to simplify my routines, especially when on vacation. I try to pare down my beauty regimen to the bare essentials, and I'm always looking for easy travel solutions that make packing easier.
One of the questions I get asked most often when I share about my travels is, How do you find such cool places to stay??? Because I like to find fun and interesting places to stay, I usually do quite a bit of research and asking around before we travel to a new place, so I was thrilled when I was invited to partner with Booking.com to share about a better way to find unique places to visit and experience one of my favorite inns in our area -- Congress Hall in Cape May, New Jersey.
Greetings, friends! I'm back from Florida, and while it was hard to leave our lovely spot, it sure does feel good to be home. I've had a lot of questions about what I packed for our trip, so I took some pictures. I'm an unapologetic over-packer, so this isn't necessarily a "what to pack" post; it's simply what I actually packed.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is not a minimalist packing blog. If you're looking for tips on efficiency and capsule wardrobe packing, you're in the wrong place. However, I do travel quite a bit and I like to have all the things, so this is what I do to make it all fit.
