The Backs of Morehead Manor
If you've visited the Inn, you may have noticed an abundance of backs. Backs in mixed-media; "Lucy" an Aug Moreau bronze and glass sculpture is our coffee table in Preston's parlor; we have drawings, photos, sculptures, and various other pieces scattered throughout the common areas in the inn. Well, as you may have guessed there is a story behind them.
Morehead Manor is Reopening June 1, 2020 - COVID-19 Update
As Durham and North Carolina cautiously joins other states in reopening its businesses we are delighted to announce that we will reopen Morehead Manor on Monday, June 1, 2020. After many weeks of “Sheltering in Place,” we are looking forward to welcoming guests.
