Cam Thomas appears to be deciding between signing the qualifying offer with the Brooklyn Nets to become an unrestricted free agent in 2026, or signing their two-year offer that is worth approximately $28 million but has a team option for the second season, reports Jake Fischer.
The sale of the Boston Celtics to Bill Chisholm at a valuation of more than $6.1 billion has been unanimously approved by the NBA board of governors. The transaction will be closed shortly with Chisholm taking an ownership stake of at least 51 percent of the Celtics. Chisholm will have full control by 2028 at a price that could bring the total valuation to $7.3 billion.
Tom Dundon has agreed to purchase the Portland Trail Blazers from the estate of Paul G. Allen for a valuation of over $4 billion. Allen passed away in 2018 and his sister, Jody Allen, has been managing his estate in subsequent years.
