I don't want to come off sounding braggy, but I got this baby thing DOWN. The funny thing is, just as I became a pro at slinging bottles, diapering a baby with my eyes shut, and handling just about any poop/pee/puke situation imaginable, my babies turned to toddlers.
I haven’t slept through the night in roughly the same. When I have three spare minutes, I impulsively wash whatever dish is nearby or tidy and wipe down surfaces. Perhaps by now you have accurately guessed that I am a first-time mom with a new baby?
I’m not here to tell you how glorious it is to have a newborn. I’m not here to tell you how hard it is, either. If you’re a parent, you likely already know those things. But I am here to talk about how life with a newborn is similar to experiencing intimacy without information. Let me explain.
