1984 News 16 January, 2020 The iconic Apple Macintosh computer that was launched in 1984 will be inducted into the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, this month. The Macintosh revolutionized personal computing and ushered in the modern era of personal computing. The exhibit will feature the original 1984 Macintosh 128K, the first version of the Macintosh computer, as well as other versions of the Macintosh released throughout the years. The exhibit will also feature artifacts, objects and media related to the development and success of the Macintosh. The exhibit will offer visitors the opportunity to explore the history of the Macintosh, its influence on personal computing, and how it changed the world.
