Flock Of Turkeys A flock of turkeys is a group of wild turkeys, typically consisting of hens and their young. The flock is led by a gobbler, who is usually the oldest and most dominant male. A flock of turkeys is a large, noisy, busy and sociable gathering of birds. They travel together in search of food, and often rest in the same area for the night. The flock helps the turkeys to stay safe from predators, as the birds can spot a threat from afar and alert the other birds.
