Euroleague Basketball Euroleague is the top flight of European professional basketball, consisting of 24 teams from across Europe. The league was founded in 2000 as a merger of the FIBA European Champions Cup and the Euroleague. It is the highest level of European club basketball, and the second-tier competition is the Eurocup. Euroleague teams compete in various domestic leagues, as well as the Euroleague itself, and the champion of the Euroleague is crowned the European champion.

Panathinaikos has signed Jerian Grant, the 2022-23 EuroCup MVP, to a one-year deal. Grant, a 30-year-old American guard, joins from Turk Telekom, where he helped lead the team to last season's EuroCup Final.
In preparation for the 2023-24 BKT EuroCup and domestic competitions in Lithuania, the Wolves have made new additions to their team, including Vaidas Kariniauskas. Kariniauskas has signed a two-year contract with the team, as announced on Thursday. The Vilnius-based team, which was founded prior to the 2022-23 season, has secured the services of a player who was part of Lithuania's final squad in the recently concluded 2023 FIBA World Cup in the Philippines. In his role as a reserve point guard, Kariniauskas averaged 4.0 points and 3.1 assists per game. The team, led by coach Kazys Maksvytis, achieved a sixth-place ranking overall.
