Fernando Muslera is a Uruguayan professional footballer who currently plays for Turkish club Galatasaray and the Uruguay national team as a goalkeeper. Muslera began his career with Defensor Sporting in Uruguay, and after impressing with the club, he moved to Italian club Lazio in 2007. At Lazio, Muslera established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Serie A, winning the Coppa Italia twice and the Supercoppa Italiana once. In 2011, he moved to Galatasaray, where he has since won seven Süper Lig titles, five Turkish Cups and four Turkish Super Cups. On the international stage, Muslera has represented Uruguay since 2008, playing in two FIFA World Cups, three Copa Américas, and two FIFA Confederations Cups. He was also a part of their squad that won the 2011 Copa América.
