Fiat Chrysler in Talks to Merge With France's Renault Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV (FCA) is in talks to merge with the French carmaker Renault SA (RNO.PA) in a deal that would create one of the world’s largest carmakers. The two companies have been in talks for weeks and are now close to finalizing a deal that could be announced as soon as Monday, according to people familiar with the matter. The deal would create a company with annual sales of more than $190 billion and could give the combined company a stronger foothold in Europe and other markets.
