Gasoline is a petroleum-derived liquid that is primarily used as an engine fuel in internal combustion engines. It consists mostly of organic compounds obtained by the fractional distillation of petroleum, enhanced with a variety of additives. Gasoline is a toxic, flammable liquid which is usually handled and transported with care. In most countries, gasoline is sold by the gallon, but in some it is sold by the liter.
It will take cost cuts for parts, better manufacturing efficiency and, in some cases, ramped-up production of gasoline trucks to get to the price and availability shoppers want of EVs.
