Hyundai News Hyundai has been in the news lately for a variety of reasons. The company recently announced the launch of its new Ioniq electric car and the new Kona Electric crossover. Additionally, the company has also announced plans for a hydrogen fuel cell vehicle, the NEXO, as well as a new fuel-cell powertrain for its vehicles. Hyundai has also partnered with Amazon to deliver Alexa-enabled vehicles, as well as launching a new car-sharing service. Finally, the company recently launched its new luxury sub-brand, Genesis, which includes the new G90 flagship sedan and the G80 midsize sedan.
Changan is up to #8 in Kazakhstan in March. New car sales in Kazakhstan are up 27.8% year-on-year in March to 13,682 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 66.7% to 37,283. Hyundai (+16.2%) overtakes Chevrolet (+103.4%) to become the most popular carmaker in the country at 27.5% share vs. 25.7%.
