A Ford and Lincoln engine block heater recall involves more than 47,000 vehicles, with 40,420 of those recalled in Canada. The recall includes these vehicles equipped with engine block heaters that may get too hot when plugged in.
A Lincoln Nautilus recall affects more than 33,400 model year 2024 SUVs because the multimedia screens can appear blank. The 2024 Lincoln Nautilus panoramic and center screen displays can restart and go blank due to problems with the multimedia module software. This violates at least 10 federal safety standards.
Ford Pre-Collision Assist problems have caused a re-recall of 2020 Ford Expedition and 2020 Lincoln Navigator vehicles supposedly repaired under a May 2020 recall. Pre-Collision Assist features such as forward collision warning and automatic emergency braking can fail due to software errors.
About eight Lincoln Aviator Hybrids are recalled because the batteries may short circuit and catch fire. The recalled 2020-2021 Lincoln Aviators are equipped with 3.0L PHEV engines that have manufacturing defects in one or more of the high voltage battery cells.
