PMPL (Professional Mobile Phone League) is a professional mobile gaming league that was established in 2019. The league is organized by Tencent Games and PUBG Mobile India. It is the first professional mobile gaming league in India and is the largest mobile gaming tournament in the country. The league was launched with an initial prize pool of Rs. 1 crore, which has since been increased to Rs. 3 crore. The tournament is divided into two divisions, the PMPL South Asia and the PMPL India. The PMPL South Asia consists of teams from India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka, while the PMPL India consists of teams from India only. The tournament involves teams of five players each competing in a series of matches over a period of several weeks. The top teams from each division advance to the finals and compete for the ultimate prize.
