- Marvel She-Hulk, also known as Jennifer Walters, is a Marvel Comics superhero created by Stan Lee and John Buscema. She is a cousin of Bruce Banner, the alter ego of the Hulk, and possesses many of the same powers. She first appeared in Savage She-Hulk #1 in 1980. She-Hulk has since made multiple appearances in various media, including animated television series, live-action films, video games, and more. She-Hulk is a founding member of the Avengers, a hero who has fought alongside the Fantastic Four and the Defenders, and is often seen as a powerful ally to other heroes. She possesses superhuman strength, durability, speed, and agility, and also has the ability to absorb energy and transform into a giant green version of herself. She-Hulk is one of Marvel's most popular female heroes and is a strong, independent character who stands up for what she believes in.
Wakanda has a new Champion. Marvel’s New Champions #1 by writer Steve Foxe (X-Men ’97) and artists Ivan Fiorelli (Fantastic Four) and Ig Guara (Sensational She-Hulk) asks the question: Who are the New Champions? First introduced as The Assembly in Foxe’s 10-issue Spider-Woman run, the San Francisco-based teen team includes the jet-powered Cadet Marvel, the […]
After beating up Rhino, Nova and Spider-Man join a team being assembled by Doctor Strange, which also includes Hulk, She-Hulk and Warbird. Why didn't Doc use The Defenders? The group teleport to challenge Titannus, who is already going at it with Wolverine. The alien fights a few of the heroes…
Dan Slott returns to a new volume of She-Hulk right after he ended the first one (we are the beginning of an endless string of #1 issue reboots from Marvel), with the character dependent on a “Gamma Changer” to enable her to hulk out (but her shrink, Doc Samson, tells her that…
This is another delightful set of issues from what is fast-becoming one of my all-time favorite runs. Last issue, the Time Variance Authority agreed to release an Avenger from its custody and in these issues we learn who it is… …And we get to have some fun with him. (It's…
[Warning: This article contains Daredevil: Born Again spoilers.] Sure, She-Hulk smashed Daredevil, but Matt Murdock’s (Charlie Cox) new love interest might make Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) green with envy. After making the jump to the big screen in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s really good lawyer, Cox returned to the small screen […]
O.K. Let’s start with the cover: Absolutely perfect characterizations there. Eros is a swaggering misogynist, so having him knowingly give the reader a thumbs up behind She-Hulk’s back is perfect. As for She-Hulk, she tends to find herself in bed with very strong men with attitudes exactly like Starfox. Whether…
The new team formally comes together. In exchange for getting him to serve on a new MI-13 team, Pete Wisdom gets Juggernaut off on his pending charges (remember those from many months ago?), after his lawyer (She-Hulk) seems to be losing the case. He also offers/coerces membership from Tessa, Nocturne,…
