Affiliate Links PR Sample I’ve been very lucky to be able to try out so many amazing new scents over the first half of this year, so I thought I would put together some of my favourites to share with you – this time I’m sharing my top 5 picks for summer days, and 5 for summer nights – enjoy! Starting with my favourites options for hot Summer Days – I had to include latest launch from Marc Antoine Barrois. Marc Antoine Barrois Tilia is a wonderfully floral, summery scent. It’s striking and unique, opening with beautiful yellow floral notes. Linden is at the forefront of the scent, with a touch of clean aldehydes, supported by intense jasmine and powdery heliotrope. Jo Malone X Paddington Orange Marmalade Cologne - Thou Shalt Not Covet...

Affiliate Links PR Sample  Jo Malone’s latest collaboration is with the one and only Paddington bear. This very British duo teams together to celebrate one of Paddington’s favourite treats – marmalade of course! ‘Marmalade is quintessentially British. After all, what is a traditional breakfast without a good marmalade? What a great inspiration for a scent, to have the bitterness of the orange rind blended with the sweetness of the marmalade.’ – Céline Roux, Global Head Of Fragrance at Jo Malone London. Orange Marmalade opens with a zingy top note of orange peel. The opening is instantly bright and joyful, and you can tell this is very much an orange based citrus scent, however it’s not as ‘marmalade-y’ as I would have expected –  it’s not really sugary-sweet like real life marmalade. This is more of a fresh and invigorating take on orange, mildly sweet, very unisex, and lightly woody in the base. Though not quite what I anticipated, I do really like this scent, it’s easy to wear, light and refreshing, and perfect for enjoying in warmer weather. Top Note: Orange Peel – Bitter-fresh and zesty, it brings the textural bite of the rind in marmalade and acts as a booster to natural orange. Heart Note: Orange Biogarade – Sparkling and fresh, it suffuses the fragrance with a zesty brightness while enhancing the orange peel texture. Base Note: Cashmere Wood – A voluptuously warm, delicately woody note, created to bring subtle sensuality to the base. Orange Marmalade Cologne is available now for £58/30ml and £124/100ml at Jo Malone. Comments comments
